There’s no sugarcoating it at all. Overall, it wasn’t such a good week for the Sideline Hecklers with our College Football and Dallas Cowboys Predictions.
Combined, the three of us (#SoonerChris, #RandomRandy and #LowedownDon) put together an embarrassing 15-18 record, which is completely out of character for this trio of Sideline Hecklers sports know it alls.
As poorly as we did, there were two college games that went according to our Predictions with all three of us correctly choosing North Carolina to defeat Minnesota and picking Oregon State to upend San Diego State.
Individually, #LowedownDon actually had a decent weekend finishing 7-4 and improving his overall record to 23-9 after three weeks of Predictions.
As for #RandomRandy, he had a so-so weekend, while going 5-6 and dropping three games behind #LowedownDon in the overall standings at 20-12.
The Big Loser (#Sooner Chris)
Not sure at all what happened to #SoonerChris and his disastrous decisions that left him struggling mightily on the way to a forgettable 3-8 ledger, which dropped his overall record to 16-16 through three weeks.
A couple of games in particular that cost #SoonerChris dearly were his head-scratching choices of opting for Mississippi State to upset LSU and thinking Michigan State would surprise Washington. Sorry, #SoonerChris. You were way off on both of those pathetic picks.
In fairness to #SoonerChris, #RandomRandy and #LowedownDon, there were unexpected results that cost all three of us, with Kansas State and Tennessee both getting beaten. Unfortunately, we all went with Purdue and that didn’t work out either Of course, we stayed loyal to our Arkansas Razorbacks and paid for that one as well.
America’s Team Rolls Again
We ended the weekend with reason to smile big as Head Coach Mike McCarthy’s Dallas Cowboys looked terrific for a second straight week while dispatching an Aaron Rodgers-less New York Jets squad and moving to 2-0.
Not sure if #SoonerChris, #RandomRandy and #LowedownDon are ready to say our Cowboys are a strong Super Bowl contender just yet, but we certainly have reason to be thrilled thus far.
More Predictions Coming Soon
As for our upcoming Predictions for Week #4, we’ll share those with everyone in a couple of days. And, no doubt about it, we’ll all bounce back with much better results.
Indeed, we’ve officially put last weekend in the rearview mirror and we’re ready to rebound nicely.
