It’s time for the Sideline Hecklers to make our Week #5 College Football and Dallas Cowboys Predictions and we’re on a roll now.
Hecklers Review Last Week’s Performance
But, before jumping right into this week’s selections, we’ll take a quick look back at just how well #SoonerChris, #RandomRandy and #LowedownDon performed with their picks last weekend.
Overall, we really had no reason to complain, while combining to go 25-8 overall, which was a terrific turnaround from our disastrous 15-18 showing the previous week.
As for individual bragging rights, #RandomRandy and #LowedownDon finished with impressive 9-2 records, while #SoonerChris was two games off the pace at a respectable 7-4.
#LowedownDon Leads the Way
After four full weeks of Predictions, #LowedownDon continues to lead the overall standings at 32-11, while being followed closely by #RandomRandy at 29-14. Although #SoonerChris is bringing up the rear and well off the pace at 23-20, there’s still plenty of time for him to make a miraculous comeback.
The stage is now set for another big week, with #SoonerChris, #RandomRandy and #LowedownDon seeing eye to eye on five of our 11 games this weekend.

Like-Minded Thinking
While it still seems weird to say it, #SoonerChris, #RandomRandy and #LowedownDon are on the same page in figuring Utah, Texas, Notre Dame and Alabama will all be victorious on Saturday. And, not surprisingly at all, we’re all three going with our Dallas Cowboys to bounce back with a win on Sunday afternoon.
Differing Opinions
Amongst our differences, #SoonerChris has opted to go with Head Coach Billy Napier’s visiting Gator’s over Head Coach Mark Stoops’ Wildcats and he has Head Coach Lane Kiffin’s Rebels taming Head Coach Brian Kelly’s Tigers.
In his most interesting pick, perhaps, #SoonerChris has Head Coach Hugh Freeze’s host Auburn bunch pulling an upset of Head Coach Kirby Smart’s top-ranked and two-time defending national champion Bulldogs.
On the flip side, #RandomRandy and #LowedownDon have penciled in Kentucky, LSU and Georgia winning these pivotal Southeastern Conference showdowns.
Loyal #LowedownDon
Not sure if he’s being different just to be different, but #LowedownDon is staying loyal to ‘his’ Razorbacks and picking ‘his’ favorite college team to celebrate a win over the Aggies.
And there might not be any logic at all to this one, but #LowedownDon seems to think Head Coach Deion Sanders’ Buffaloes will bounce back big against Head Coach Lincoln Riley’s Trojans a week after getting embarrassed by the Oregon Ducks.
In another choice that seems a bit curious, #LowedownDon is going with host Syracuse to knock off Head Coach Dabo Swinney’s reeling Tigers squad, which is coming off a disappointing 31-24 overtime loss against Head Coach Mike Norvell’s #5 Florida State Seminoles at home a week ago.
Choosing not to follow in the footsteps of their fellow Heckler, #SoonerChris and #RandomRandy have decided they’ll go with Texas A&M, USC and Clemson, while hoping to gain ground on #LowedownDon in the overall standings once this weekend’s slate of games is over.
