The Sideline Hecklers are ready to share our first pre-season predictions for the upcoming football season.
And, we’ll start with who we envision hoisting championship trophies in the Power 5 Conferences at season’s end.
Of course, as you’d expect from the Sideline Hecklers, we wouldn’t be able to unveil our selections without some quirky conversation along the way, even in a series of text messages back and forth.
Lowedown Don was clearly on his game (not) when he asked Random Randy and Sooner Chris for their choice as Big East Football Conference Champions in 2023.
Random Randy gave us one of his classic answers as he said, “The best team.”
Sooner Chris opted with Florida State as his Big East Champions. Great choice, right? Wrong!
There IS NOT a Big East Conference in football!!!
Yep, friends, your Sideline Hecklers are definitely in mid-season form. Such brilliance and such expertise from the three of us.
As for our REAL picks for the Power 5 Conferences (drum roll please) …

Big 10: The Ohio State
Big 12: Texas
ACC: Clemson
SEC: Georgia
Sooner Chris
PAC 12: USC
Big 10: Ohio State
Big 12: Oklahoma
ACC: Clemson
SEC: Georgia
Lowedown Don
PAC 12: Trojan Horse
Big 10: Harbaugh’s Guys
Big 12: K-State
ACC: Fla State
SEC: Roll Tide
The only one all three of us are in agreement with is Clemson claiming the ACC crown.
Of course, Sooner Chris goes with his heart and not his brain in thinking Oklahoma has a snowball’s chance in you know where of winning the Big 12. Really?
