Overall, the second week of Predictions weren’t nearly as good for the Sideline Hecklers. Collectively, the terrific trio of #SoonerChris (Chris Kerklin), #RandomRandy (Randy Parker) and #LowedownDon (Don Lowe) managed a combined 19-14 record. Not so bad. But, not so good either considering this talented threesome’s know-it-all expert opinions on college football.
#RandomRandy Wins the WeekÂ
Individually, #RandomRandy apparently had the best approach, while Predicting all 11 of the visiting teams to come away with victories and he finished 8-3 with that strategy, while improving his overall record to 15-6 after two weeks of Predictions. #RandomRandy did make a few mistakes, most notably in having faith that Head Coach Jimbo Fisher’s Texas A&M Aggies would come through with a win on the road at Miami. Didn’t happen.
#LowedownDon wasn’t terrible with his choices, going a respectable 7-4 and grabbing the overall lead at 16-5 two weeks into this spirited competition, albeit just one full game ahead of #RandomRandy at this stage of the game. Amongst his most head-scratching decisions, though, #LowedownDon absolutely blew it with his decision to go against the Luck of the Irish as Notre Dame went on the road and handily took down North Carolina State in impressive fashion.
As for #SoonerChris, he had a miserable week, to put it mildly, while skidding his way to a forgettable 4-7 record. Not sure the thought process of #SoonerChris at all, but it clearly didn’t work and he now sits at 13-8 overall through two weeks of Predictions.
A+ Performance for America’s Team
While we all had our differences in the 10 college games we picked, the Sideline Hecklers couldn’t have been more thrilled with how our favorite NFL team kicked off its 2023 season as Head Coach Mike McCarthy’s Dallas Cowboys overwhelmed Head Coach Brian Daboll’s New York Giants 40-0 before a national TV audience in primetime on NBC this past Sunday night.
#SoonerChris, #RandomRandy and #LowedownDon didn’t have their best weeks Predicting the outcomes of college games. But, each of us stayed loyal to the Cowboys and it paid off big for us. It was a dominating Dallas defense that set the tone and we ended the week on a high note.
Now it’s time for Week 3 and in a couple of days #SoonerChris, #RandomRandy and #LowedownDon will be ready to share more Predictions with our followers.
