Coach Roderique says now is the right time to step away

In particular, though, I was honored to write a feature article on the Webb City Cardinals legendary football head coach John Roderique, who is retiring after an incredibly successful 26 years of leading his high school alma mater to an amazing array of accomplishments, including 15 state title game appearances, 13 state championship celebrations, 10 undefeated regular seasons, 22 consecutive district titles and multiple conference crowns along the way.

Without giving too much more of this story away, Coach Roderique simply says the reason he has decided to retire now is that it’s simply time for him to step away.

Way to go Coach Roderique and here’s wishing you and your family all the best in whatever comes next.
