This is totally for my ‘good friend’ Sooner Chris or Crazy Chris.
Hogs finish strong. Sooners not so much.
The Arkansas Razorbacks football team – my favorite college team – finished the 2022 season at 7-6 overall.
And…
The Oklahoma Sooners, who just happen to be the favorite collegiate pigskin power (not) of my good friend Sooner Chris, closed out ’22 at 6-7 overall.
Okay, not much to brag about, for sure, as a Razorbacks fan.
Then again, over the past couple of decades, Oklahoma has been head and shoulders above Arkansas on the gridiron. There’s no debating that whatsoever.
So, I’ve not been able to challenge Chris at all when he constantly boasts about the greatness of his
Sooners squad year after year after year. Ugh!!!
Hog Heaven Celebration for Arkansas. Schooner Wagon Crashes, Burns.
While 7-6 versus 6-7 might not be much worth boasting about, I’ll still take it.
That’s right Chris, your beloved Boomer Sooner bunch basically crashed and burned this past fall. As our good friend ‘Random Randy’ Parker always used to say, “The wheels have fallen off the Schooner Wagon.”
WPS!!!
While ‘my’ Hogs barely finished with a winning record, I’ll definitely take it.
