Betting I win!
I tried once again – and failed once again –to win $100,000 of Terry Bradshaw’s money on the weekly sports betting with Fox Bet Super 6. (Before all my friends and family who are against ‘gambling’ go nuts lecturing me – just shut up. It’s none of your business.)
Selecting the correct winners each week in the National Football League (NFL) isn’t easy – at all. Especially IF you’re trying to predict the correct point spread. If you think otherwise, then try it. I ‘think’ I’m decent – okay just so-so – at ‘guessing’ who will, straight up, win and lose. But, ‘forcing’ me to decide who wins/loses AND by how many points? I suppose it’s not impossible. Then again…
I won! Oh, wait…
I managed to get 4 of the six games right with the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers all winning – just as I’d predicted. HOWEVER, the Vikings, Lions and 49ers DID NOT win by the point spreads that I selected.
DANG IT!
I wasn’t too far off with points on the Vikings and 49ers. But, ‘not too far off’ isn’t good enough.

It’s ‘pointless’ to even mention the details of how badly the Tennessee Titans failed me. Likewise, the New York Giants ‘cost’ me a chance to win big as well even though they didn’t lose. Note: A tie is the same as a loss in this high-stakes game of trying to WIN Terry’s money.
If I had gotten all ‘Super Six’ selections correct, I’d have accumulated a perfect score of 30 points. (There’s a total of five points for each game by selecting the correct winner AND accurately predicting the point spread.)

I did manage 17 points out of 30. Not too bad. It’s not a failing grade if you look at that way.
But, not too bad is just not good enough.
I don’t know if any of this makes any sense at all.
Either way, I’ll try again next Sunday. That’s right friends and family. If you’re in church next Sunday morning, pray that my results will net me $100,000 of Terry Bradshaw’s money. In the meantime, I’ll have my fingers crossed, hoping, and wishing for the same.
