Christmas Comes Early

Coach Explaining American Football Players On Field

‘Tis the season for College Football Head Coaches and their staffs to celebrate with all the gold and silver ‘packages’ that they acquire with elegantly wrapped signatures of all those incoming freshmen phenoms who have finished their high school careers.

All these young men are now ready to shine bright at the collegiate level.

Quite honestly, this ‘gift-giving’ just doesn’t quite seem so fair at times as the typical college football powerhouses – Alabama Crimson Tide, Georgia Bulldogs, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Texas Longhorns just to name a few – seem to get the most shiny, glittery young stars that are destined for stardom and gridiron greatness next fall.

However, don’t expect other schools around the country to be in ‘Bah Humbug’ moods simply because they didn’t receive any of the sparkling ‘5-Star’ presents.

In fact, virtually every head coach and staff across the country, as well as fans of all these teams, have reason to be filled with much optimism and excitement as they look ahead to ‘unwrapping’ the untapped talents of all these young men.

Regardless of who happens to have been ‘gifted’ with most of the biggest and fastest, every new player at every school presents the possibility of providing his college/university with a present that shines brightest every Saturday.

It’s the Christmas gift(s) that keep(s) right on giving all year long.
