Yep. It’s that time. Another weekend of college football is fast approaching. It’s Week #11 and the Sideline Hecklers are once again ready to share our KNOW-IT-ALL KNOWLEDGE of all things college football and the Dallas Cowboys with our EXPERT Picks.
There’s a trio of intriguing ranked-versus-ranked matchups (#3 Michigan Wolverines at #10 Penn State Nittany Lions; #9 Ole Miss Rebels at #2 Georgia Bulldogs; and #13 Tennessee Volunteers at #14 Missouri Tigers) that #SoonerChris, #RandomRandy and #LowedownDon will be watching closely.
HOGS TRY FOR BACK-TO-BACK WINS
Of course, #RandomRandy and #LowedownDon are hopeful ‘their’ Arkansas Razorbacks will maintain plenty of momentum and give all those fans who venture to Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Saturday afternoon plenty to cheer about with a Southeastern Conference victory over Hughe Freeze’s visiting Auburn Tigers.
SOONERS HOPE TO END TWO-GAME SKID
Likewise, #SoonerChris will sure be hoping ‘his’ #17 Oklahoma Sooners will put the disappointments of back-to-back disheartening defeats behind them and get back on track with a Big 12 win over the visiting West Virginia Mountaineers.
WEEK #10 REVIEW
Before sharing more details on what the Hecklers are thinking and Predicting as we get set for this weekend’s action, here’s a quick review of how we fared a week ago.
Admittedly, our combined efforts weren’t even close to the lofty standards that we typically produce with a lackluster 17-16 record amongst the three of us. Individually, #SoonerChris continues to gain ground in the overall standings as he put together a 7-4 ledger, while #LowedownDon did ‘so-so’ at 6-5. It was a forgettable week for #RandomRandy as he finished 4-7.
LOWEDOWNDON STAYS ATOP THE LEADERBOARD
In the overall standings through 10 full weeks of Predictions, #LowedownDon continues to lead the way at 72-36, but #SoonerChris and #RandomRandy are only four games back with identical records of 68-40.
Now, it’s time to see how things will shake out this weekend for the Hecklers. Here’s our complete list of Weeek #11 Games…
Auburn Tigers at Arkansas Razorbacks
West Virginia Mountaineers at #17 Oklahoma Sooners
#9 Ole Miss Rebels at #2 Georgia Bulldogs
#13 Tennessee Volunteers at #14 Missouri Tigers
Maryland Terrapins at Nebraska Cornhuskers
Iowa State Cyclones at BYU Cougars
Duke Blue Devils at #24 North Carolina Tar Heels
#3 Michigan Wolverines at #10 Penn State Nittany Lions
Texas State Bobcats at Coastal Carolina Chanticleers
Wyoming Cowboys at UNLV Rebels
New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys
THINKING ALIKE
In five of our 11 games, #SoonerChris, #RandomRandy and #LowedownDon see things exactly the same as the three of us Hecklers are predicting that Oklahoma, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan and ‘our’ Dallas Cowboys will all be winners this weekend.
#SOONERCHRIS NOT SO HIGH ON THE HOGS
As for the differences, #SoonerChris apparently still has no confidence in Arkansas despite the fact that Sam Pittman’s Razorbacks got a much-needed victory last Saturday, while edging Head Coach Billy Napier’s host Florida Gators 39-36 in overtime. On the other hand, #RandomRandy and #LowedownDon have renewed faith in ‘their’ Hogs and are predicting a win over Auburn.
While trying to regroup from his worst week of the year, #RandomRandy is going against #SoonerChris and #LowedownDon in a couple of games, while taking Duke over North Carolina and picking Texas State to defeat Coastal Carolina.
In trying to keep his lead in the overall standings, #LowedownDon is going against #SoonerChris and #RandomRandy, while picking Nebraska and BYU as winners.
